1) The surface and interfacial structure of condensed matters investigated by linear and nonlinear vibrational spectroscopy;
2) Ultrafast dynamics of condensed matter investigated by femtosecond nonlinear spectroscopy;
3) The interaction between proteins and cell membranes;
4) The water structure and dynamics in membrane and interfacial environment;
5) Development of time resolved mode-selective excitation –nonlinear spectroscopy probe technique.
