2000 University of Texas at Austin, Ph.D. in condensed matter physics (with University Fellowship).
2000-2005 Cypress Semiconductor Inc. (at Minneapolis, Minnesota), Senior Engineer, Staff Engineer, Project Leader.
2005-Now Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microscale, University of Science and Technology of China, full professor.
2008-Now Also with High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, full professor.
 
RESEARCH INTERESTS
  (1) Implementation of scanning probe microscopes (SPM) in low temperature, strong magnetic field, solution and other extreme conditions, including various novel scanning tunneling microscopes (STM), atomic force microscopes (AFM), and magnetic force microscopes (MFM), and their applications in superconductivity, colossal magneto- resistive materials (CMR), low dimension system, complex oxides, and other strong electron correlated system. (2) High temperature growth of nano materials and crystals in strong magnetic field.
