EDUCATION AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Dr. Xiaodong Zhang is a full Professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He was born in Anhui province, China, in 1986. He received a B.S. degree in Material Chemistry in 2008 from Anhui University. And then he pursuing his Ph. D. degree in nano chemistry under the tutelage of Prof. Yi Xie at USTC during 2008 to 2013. After two-year Postdoctoral training in iChEM, he joined the Department of Applied Chemistry, USTC as an associate professor, and promotion to professor in 2019.
Dr. Zhang has published more than 60 papers in prestigious journals, such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Nature Commun. etc. The above papers have been cited more than 5000 times by others, and 12 papers were cited more than 100 times.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
The preparation, microstructural characterization, photoexcitation process study of low dimensional solids, and their applications in energy catalysis.
