RESEARCH INTERESTS
The research interests in Dr. Yu’s group are currently focused on nanomaterials and clean energy. Specifically, the research activities include synthesis of 1D nanomaterials (e. g. nanofibers, nanotubes, nanowires), porous thin films, and nanoparticles as well as their applications, e.g., as electrodes for batteries (lithium battery, sodium battery, potassium ion battery and Li-S battery). Furthermore, we also investigate the fundamental science of energy storage system and develop novel nanomaterials for energy systems and devices.
