EDUCATION AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Dr. Hailong Jiang is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and PI of Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale.
Dr. Jiang was born in 1981 in Anhui, China and completed PhD (Inorganic Chemistry) in 2008 from Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) under the supervision of Prof. Jiang-Gao Mao. He worked with Prof. Qiang Xu at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST, Japan), first as an AIST fellow and later a JSPS fellow during 2008-2011. Subsequently, he worked with Prof. Hong-Cai JOE Zhou at Texas A&M University, USA. Since 2013, he has been a full professor at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and PI of Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale. He was selected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) andrecognized as a highly cited researcher (2017) in Chemistry by Clarivate Analytics. He has published more than 130 papers in prestigious journals with a citation of over 13000 times (H index of 56) and 1 invited book chapter. His main research interest is in the development of crystalline porous and nanostructured materials, crossing coordination chemistry and nanoscience, for energy-/environment-related catalysis.

2.Fabrication and catalytic applications (including heterogeneous catalysis, photocatalysis, and electrocatalysis) of functionalized MOF-based materials.
